Time Condition


A Time Condition in NextGenSwitch allows users to define rules for routing calls based on predefined time groups. This feature ensures that calls are directed appropriately during business hours, after hours, or any custom-defined periods.

Configure a Time Condition in NextGenSwitch

To create a new Time Condition, navigate to NextGenSwitch> Incoming > Time Conditions, where you’ll find the most important fields.

Name: To identify the time condition for management and routing purposes.

Time Group: Links the time condition to a predefined Time Group that specifies the active time periods.

Destination if Time Matches: Specifies where the call should be routed when the time matches the time group.

  • Select Module/Function: Defines the module or function to activate when the time condition is matched.
  • Select Destination: Sets the specific call target within the selected module.

Destination if Time Does Not Match: Specifies where the call should be routed when the time does not match the time group.

  • Select Module/Function: Defines the module or function to activate when the time condition is not matched.
  • Select Destination: Sets the specific call target within the selected module.

By setting up Time Conditions, you can optimize call flow management and ensure seamless communication for your organization.
