NextGenSwitch provides feature codes that allow users to quickly configure and control call forwarding, queues and other PBX functions directly from their phone keypad.
| Feature | Code | Usage |
| Always Forward Activate | *22 | Activates unconditional call forwarding. All incoming calls will be forwarded to the configured destination. |
| Forward When Busy | *23 | Activates call forwarding only when the line is busy. |
| Forward When Unavailable | *25 | Activates call forwarding when the extension is unreachable (e.g., phone is offline). |
| Forward Deactivate | *26 | Cancels any active call forwarding. |
| Forward Set | *27 | Used to set the destination number for forwarding. Format: *27*<destination_number># Example: *27*017xxxxxxxx# |
